Contributing to QIST Foundation can take the form of research, implementation, standards work, review, documentation, and governance participation. Use the pathways below to find the right entry point.
Interpretive & Education Contributions
This contribution pathway is for professionals who translate rigorous quantum and post-quantum research into language that boards, regulators, and fiduciaries can act on.
Eligible contributions include:
- Contributor commentary on published QIST artifacts
- Institutional risk framing and governance interpretation
- Participation in expert roundtables and briefings
- Educational materials for non-technical audiences
This pathway explicitly excludes:
- Cryptographic design or evaluation
- Scientific peer review
- Standards authorship
- Commercial advocacy
