Governance
Foundation roadmap & upcoming disclosures
This page lists transparency and organizational items that are planned or under consideration, not current commitments with dates. It exists so visitors can distinguish what QIST publishes today from what may follow formal foundation formation and operational maturity.
For artifacts that are already in force, start at the Transparency Portal.
Upcoming — not yet in effect
Everything below is labeled upcoming. QIST Foundation is described on About as an independent initiative with plans to formalize as a nonprofit; until then, treat this page as intent and planning space only.

If and when QIST accepts public donations, this site will document eligibility, use restrictions, and acknowledgment practices. No donation program is active at this time.
Upcoming

Upcoming
Third-party nonprofit profiles (e.g. Candid / GuideStar)
External transparency profiles are under evaluation for after legal formation and audited reporting exist. No profile is claimed or linked yet.
Scientific direction — artificial intelligence (upcoming emphasis)
QIST already documents research on intelligent systems, AI safety, and agent-native programs (for example under Intelligent Systems & AI Safety and the AIOS program). Upcoming work may expand cross-cutting themes such as: rigorous evaluation of AI-assisted research workflows, tooling for formal methods and verification, governance of autonomous agents alongside post-quantum assumptions, and clearer publication of methodology when AI tools contribute to artifacts in the Knowledge repository.
No separate AI science roadmap is published yet; when priorities are fixed, they will appear as technical notes, governance proposals, or explicit roadmap artifacts linked from this page and the Knowledge repository.
